The Pakistan Super League 2019 (PSL 2019) 4th edition is just around the corner. A minor initiative of the Pakistan Cricket Board has grown to an internationally acclaimed event. PSL which took its formative root in 2015 has become a routine yearly event, attracting the attention of cricket lovers and generating excitement among astute cricketers globally.
The 4th PSL edition beginning from February 14, 2019 is devoid of the previous commercial rights like the HBL sponsorship. Although Geo Super TV Channel is billed to air the official broadcast of the PSL Draft event on September 29, 2018, but it is not yet clear if it will secure the full broadcasting right of PSL 2019.
Following are the teams participating in Pakistan Super League Season 4 (2019).
Yes indeed, the 2019 PSL-4 edition will be full of glamour and excitement than the three previous editions. A total of 6 squads will be slugging it out with each other during the epic battles on various cricket tuffs.
The 4th PSL will be held in UAE and Pakistan. Following are the important dates in the tournament:

GOOD NEWS! Some renowned foreign cricketers are listed in the PSL-4 2019 edition. The list of International platinum batsmen includes the ace Australian cricketer Steve Smith, and AB de Villiers, the sensational South Africa. Chris Lynn, another Australian big-wig cricketer is also bid for the tournament. New Zealand’s Colin Munro, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine of Windies are also featured in the list of the platinum players.
The 4th Edition of Pakistan Super League is tailored in a format that each squad plays each other twice in the league stages. The opening match will be between Islamabad United apparently the defending champions and Peshawar Zalmi, the previous title holder.
The final of 2018 PSL-3 was played on March 25, 2018 between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. The match was held at the National Stadium, Karachi. Islamabad United won the 3rd edition of PSL (2018) by 3 wickets over Peshawar Zalmi, the defending champions.
It is indicative that Islamabad United will be more determined to step-up their games to retain the trophy. Luke Ronchi, a great cricketer was crowned with the player of the match award. He doubled it with the best player of the tournament.
The PSL 3 was based on a format that allows each team to play a total match of ten matches, equating to two matches each against other teams. All the matches were played in UAE as a cautionary measure against the insecurity situations in Pakistan.
