The franchise of Karachi King was launched on December 21, 2015, along its logo and kit. Salman Iqbal, the owner of the team announced the team name, logo and also revealed the jersey of the kit. Team represents Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan and capital of Sindh province of Pakistan.
The logo depicts a roaring lion with ‘KARACHI’ written in white color at the bottom. Logo has three main colors that are golden, blue and white. During the launch ceremony, Salman Iqbal told about the theme and its colors that it reflects the courage, determination and the spirit of Karachi city.
The first anthem for Karachi Kings titled ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Hoga Re‘ was released on February 4, 2017. It was sung by Shehzad Roy for the second edition of Pakistan Super League in 2017. It was aired through ARY Digital also available on Youtube. For the third edition in 2018, another anthem ‘De Dhana Dhan‘ was introduced on February 17, 2018 also sung by Shehzad Roy.
