History

Lahore Qalandars have had a slow start in the previous editions of Pakistan Super League. In their inaugural season, they suffered two consecutive losses against Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. However, later they had their first taste of victory against Quetta Gladiators. Whatsoever, this happiness was short lived and they didn’t manage to qualify for the playoffs. The next two seasons of 2017 and 2018 saw a similar pattern for them and ended with them being at the bottom of the table in 2017 and the first team to be eliminated in 2018.

Your Thoughts: Will They Lift the Cup this Season?

The team seems to be in high hopes of breaking their past streak of bad luck and with the optimism of the players and the squad, the 2019 season is looking out to be different than the others. Only time will tell what hidden underdogs Lahore Qalandar has with them, or will it just another fail under their belt. With many experienced players backing up the young budding talent, Lahore Qalandars is ready to kick off the competition and the support of the people back at home has us hoping that maybe this year is going to be different and they might actually manage to cross the playoffs and the start of a surprising turn of events for them as well as the Pakistan Super League.
