The first two seasons of Pakistan Super League went with five teams, as Multan Sultans came into being on June 1, 2017, after the second PSL season. Multan franchise was purchased by Schon Properties for a bid of US$5.2 Million per year for a span of eight years. The contract totaled a worth of US$41.6 millions.

Dress Kit and Jersey

The kit was revealed on September 22, 2017. The jersey for 2023 contains two colors blue and green. The left chest side contains the franchise logo; the right chest side there is a sponsor logo. Bottom part of the jersey contains a sketch of Multan’s famous architects.

Logo was also revealed along the kit. It depicts a man riding a horse, holding a bat instead of a sword. This represents the term ‘Sultan‘, the kings in the past centuries. At the bottom, there is the team name written in yellow and white colors and a tagline, ‘CRICKET KAY TOOFAN‘.
