1. Nicholas Pooran (c)

Bowling Style: Right-arm off-break
Role: Wicket-keeper batsman

Nicholas Pooran is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays for the West Indies national team. He is a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper, and has represented the West Indies at Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) level.

Pooran made his international T20 debut against Pakistan on September 23, 2016. He was signed by the Indian Premier League team Punjab Kings from 2019 to 2021. In 2019, he was banned from cricket for four months after tampering with the ball during a Test match against Sri Lanka. Nicholas Pooran is a talented cricketer with a bright future ahead of him.

2. Akeal Hosein

Akeal Hosein is a Trinidadian cricketer who made his international T20 debut for West Indies on July 3rd, 2021. Hosein is a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. Akeal has played cricket at various levels including school and club cricket. Akeal represented Trinidad and Tobago U19 in Regional Super50 tournament in 2019-20. Akeal Hosein currently plays domestic cricket for T&T Red Force and he is also a part of the Trinbago Knight Riders squad in the CPL 2020. 3. Alzarri Joseph

Alzarri Joseph is a professional cricketer from Antigua and Barbuda who plays for the West Indies cricket team. He made his debut in 2016 and has played for several T20 franchises around the world. A right-arm fast bowler, Joseph made his international T20 debut for West Indies on July 29, 2022 against India. He has represented the team in all cricket formats, One-day, Test and Twenty20 International (T20I).

In March 2019, Alzarri was signed by the Mumbai Indians to play in the Indian Premier League. He had a successful season with the franchise, helping them to win the tournament. He was named in St Kitts & Nevis Patriots squad for Caribbean Premier League in 2020. Alzarri is known for his pace and swing bowling, and he has been successful in the shorter format of the game. 4. Brandon King

He was selected for the squad in October ‘2019 for the series against Afghanistan in India. Brandon’s batting style is described as ‘fearless’, and he is known for hitting the ball clean and hard.

Brandon made his first-class debut for Jamaica in 2014-15 Regional Four Day Competition. Brandon made his List A debut for Guyana in 2015-16 Regional Super50.

5. Evin Lewis

Evin Lewis is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays for the West Indies. He is a left-handed batsman and occasional right-arm off-break bowler. Lewis made his international debut for the West Indies in March 2016 against Afghanistan. In February 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) named Lewis as one of the ten players to watch ahead of the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament. In June 2018, he was named the T20 International Cricketer of the Year at the annual Cricket West Indies’ Awards.

In April 2019, he was named in the West Indies’ squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. In June 2021, during the series against South Africa, Lewis scored his 1,000th run in T20I cricket. In September 2021, Lewis was named in the West Indies’ squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
